Transit Wireless Engages V-COMM for Next Phases of NYC Subway DAS Project
 


Cranbury, NJ, May 15, 2014 -- V-COMM, an industry-leading telecommunications engineering firm, has expanded its relationship with Transit Wireless to implement Phases Two and Three of the wireless network project in the New York City subway system.

V-COMM’s expanded relationship includes comprehensive Wi-Fi and wireless testing in all new stations, in Manhattan and the other boroughs. Upon completion on Phase Three, Transit Wireless will have a total of 114 subway stations on air in NYC.

“V-COMM and Transit Wireless have been working closely together for the past several years creating a high-quality network in the New York City subway systems,” said Dominic Villecco, president of V-COMM. “It is a much tougher environment than a typical DAS network, but our engineers are up to the task.”
