Ronkonkoma, N.Y., October 7, 2009 -- VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.), a leader in enterprise Relevant Products/Services solutions for the distribution, manufacturing, retail and service Relevant Products/Services industries, and an IBM Premier Business Partner, announced today that Ohio-based B.J. Alan Company (www.bjalan.com), the parent company of Phantom Fireworks, a national distributor of consumer fireworks, has successfully implemented S2K 5.0 to streamline operations for the companies multiple retail locations. Phantom purchased VAI's S2K for Retail and S2K for Distribution software solutions to maximize efficiency Relevant Products/Services and enhance overall business performance.

Phantom, a VAI customer Relevant Products/Services since 2002, upgraded to S2K for Distribution version 5.0 in early 2009 and went live in May of this year. With VAI's dynamic software, Phantom now has the capability to run each of its stores independently-a substantial benefit, as many of its retail locations are open only a few months out of the year. The fireworks distributor also has even greater access to accurate, real-time financial information and is equipped with the technical resources to improve cash flow, allow for better decision-making and enhance overall productivity.
