device location and identity verification, today announced that Founder and CEO Chirag Bakshi has been selected to present at the Location Intelligence Summit 2014, being held in Washington, D.C., from May 19-21.
Mr. Bakshi will present a session titled “Securing Commerce Using Location Intelligence” in the HERE Summit Track, in conjunction with Nokia. The session will take place on May 20 from 4:15 pm EDT to 5:30 pm EDT in Room 144B of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
During the session, Mr. Bakshi will discuss trends around authenticating credit card users, even while traveling outside of their home areas. The latest approaches leverage mobile phone location technology using Global Mobile Operator networks and radio towers that service mobile users to associate and authenticate users, delivering secure commerce solutions for financial payments, online banking, online transactions, and more. Mr. Bakshi will also show how the HERE Location Platform helps accurately locate the mobile phone to enable this solution.
